Getaway trip to Rustig, near Hekpoort. This venue has beautiful accommodation at affordable rates. The cost with club fee is R310 members / R325 non-members per night. (R620/R650 for the weekend includes 2 nights accommodation & meal on Friday evening.) It is a modern, light, spacious 4 bedroom farmhouse with a big patio overlooking stunning grounds. They have a lovely pool, a restaurant also with a big wide patio with spectacular views and a pub with a big tv for the sports fanatics. We will have a chicken curry on the Friday night and a big fire under the stars. So bring your sundowners!!! Saturday we can do a morning walk - optional and then a tasty lunch of tuna, cheeses, cold meats etc.
Everyone to bring a contribution to be co-ordinated by me. In the afternoon laze at the pool or relax at the pub or our farmhouse. Saturday night is the Bring ’n Braai(own meat & a Group Contribution. Sunday morning, the day visitors will join us for a morning hike to panoramic views followed by an afternoon of braaiing & swimming. This venue is only 1hr 10 min from my house.

Duncan & Sue invited us to free peace concert at Heia Safari Lodge on the banks of their dam. It was such a beautiful setting & a very entertaining day. The music was superb Prime Circle, Setho and the lead singer from Wonderboom etc. They have organized a concert at Roxy, Melville, Johannesburg, this Saturday night with Black Cat Bones- a rock and blues band.
